About us

Our company was established over 40 years ago by Owner and Superintendent Pharmacist, Kantilal Agravat, known as ‘Ken the Chemist’ locally.

Our vision:

To build on our successful pharmacy business to create a vibrant health hub which offers a range of services for the local community.

Our commitment and passion for our local community sees us going above and beyond the typical role of a pharmacy through activities such as offering work placements to local young people throughout the year, and working with local charities as part of our outreach service.

Recent Awards

Our approach has seen us win several awards in recent years including:

  1. Runner up in the Pharmacy Innovation of the Year category at the Independent Pharmacy Awards 2018
  2. Finalist in the Chemist and Druggist awards 2018 in the ‘Health Initiative of the Year’ category for our homeless-friendly outreach scheme
  3. Winner of the ‘Innovation in Pharmacy Services’ category in GMCA’s Greater Manchester Pharmacy Local Professional Network 2018
  4. Kantilal Agravat was the regional winner of the 2016 ‘I Love My Pharmacist’ award recognized by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
