We dispense NHS prescriptions (paper and electronic) and give advice on how to get the most benefit from your medicines. We can also dispense NHS repeat dispensing prescriptions. All medicines are dispensed in child resistant containers unless you ask us not to.
When you are prescribed a medicine to treat a long-term condition for the first time, the pharmacist will support you to use the medicine safely and to best effect. The service is only available to people using certain medicines, please ask in store or call for details.
You can return all unwanted medicines to the pharmacy where we will dispose of them safely.

Our pharmacy can support you with seven common illnesses without needing a GP appointment. This includes sinusitis, sore throat, earache (children), infected insect bite, impetigo, shingles, urinary tract infection (women).
As a Healthy Living Pharmacy, our pharmacist and trained assistants are available for advice on all medicines and minor ailments, in private if required. We can also give you advice on how to live a healthy life, for example, advice on how to stop smoking or healthy diets. We can direct you to other sources of advice and assistance if we cannot help you ourselves.

We are proud to be working in partnership with Connect Health at our main branch in Openshaw to offer pain management services to the local community. Patients can self-refer or be referred by their GP.

The NHS offers COVID-19 treatment to people with COVID-19 who are at risk of becoming seriously ill. To access treatment, eligible patients first need to be able to test themselves by using a lateral flow device (LFD) test if they develop symptoms suggestive of COVID-19. This is a walk-in service where patients or their representatives can collect one box of 5 LFD tests from our pharmacy on confirmation that the patient is part of the potentially eligible for COVID-19 treatments cohort.
Also known as the morning after pill, emergency contraception can stop you getting pregnant after unprotected sex. You need to use emergency contraception within 3 to 5 days of having unprotected sex. The sooner you use emergency contraception, the more effective it usually is.
